Why Rent a Serviced Office in Victoria?
The growth of serviced offices in Victoria has been enabled by the massive amount of top grade, large office redevelopment schemes built in recent years. London Victoria station covers a huge commuter area to the south of London. Critically the Gatwick Express links Victoria directly to Gatwick Airport. Certainly, Victoria’s excellent transport links have attracted both big corporates and overseas companies. Traditionally Victoria is home to the insurance, medical and financial sectors. However with some of these splendid new buildings now housing serviced offices, Victoria is starting to attract new media and tech firms.
At the other end of Victoria Street lies Parliament Square, Westminster and Whitehall. Being the seat of UK Government, this area attracts many parliament-related bodies, businesses and consultancies. Of course, being further away from Victoria Station, the rental levels are lower. Notably, however, if you are looking to contain your costs, a serviced office at this end of Victoria Street still offers an excellent position. You are still close enough to the large Victoria occupiers, but also a stone’s throw from the West End, just across St. James’s Park.
Helpfully, both ends of Victoria Street offer a London SW1 business address, which is important for many businesses.
What do business centres in Victoria offer?
Typically, a business centre in Victoria will offer a range of serviced office options, including business support services. Critically, serviced office space is quickly available on very flexible terms – often a month to month basis. Telecoms, high speed internet and office furniture are included as standard along with the rent in a single monthly bill. Finally, additional services such a meeting room hire by the hour and video conferencing are often available.
In particular, start ups, solo entrepreneurs and freelancers may find coworking spaces in an open plan or shared office suit best. Whilst this is perfect for collaboration and networking, it’s also flexible enough to allow you to grow your business.
However business centres in Victoria will also offer more traditional, self-contained office space for rent. These executive suites and with private conference rooms are aimed at larger, more established businesses.
At the other end of the scale, you may just require a Victoria business address, without the physical office. In that case, virtual office services – including telephone answering and mail forwarding will be ideal. Adding occasional meeting room hire, flexible hot desking and other office support services creates a winning combination for the cost-conscious business requiring a prime London location.
