As we have been stressing for months, demand is outstripping supply across Central London, making office space acquisition very competitive and pushing rents higher. The north City fringes have experienced some of the most significant increases in demand and I see this upward trend continuing for the time being. Due to an ongoing shortage of supply, rent will continue its upward trajectory.

Crossrail is coming
Communications will improve dramatically when Farringdon Crossrail opens in 2018. But even today communications are good: by tube, it only takes 15 – 20 minutes door-to-door to get to Clerkenwell from our office in Great Portland Street .
