If you've ever played Monopoly, you'll know that Mayfair's the most expensive property on the board
Mayfair: a commercial guide for businesses looking for office space in London
Ian Kitchener:If you’ve ever played Monopoly, you’ll know that Mayfair’s the most expensive property on the board, and today it’s largely the same. It’s probably the most prestigious and expensive place to occupy an office in Central London.
It sits in a large area, running the full length of Old Bond Street, and New Bond street, and sitting in between Regent Street and Park lane.
Being in the heart of the west end, it’s got great communications, and it will also have an Elizabeth Line Terminal at the end of 2018.
Historically, the area was full of grand houses built around fine garden squares, and today although there’s been a lot of building, the area retains a lot of its architectural integrity with just, lots of buildings, and the favorite ones remain around Garden Squares. Like Grosvenor Square, Berkeley Square, and Hanover Square.
There’s every kind of office built in Mayfair to suite every kind of occupier from the very small to the very large corporates. My favorite spot would probably be on Bond Street, where there’s a lovely statue of Eisenhower and Churchill, sitting on a bench.

Rental Guide for Mayfair Offices
NB. Leased office rents, rates and service charge are quoted per ft2 per year. The above rental estimates reflect good quality (but not prime) air conditioned offices. More expensive and cheaper accommodation will generally be available. Rent rates and service charge estimates are only intended as a guide. Office space is often available with costs outside these guidelines. Negotiated rent free incentives will often make the net effective rent, lower than the above estimates. Business rates payable will vary from year to year, changing each April, due to annual changes in the Uniform Business Rate. Higher rates are paid for brand new buildings. Rent quoted in the City of London financial district is assumed not to be in a tower, where rents can be significantly more expensive |

Office rental rates exclude VAT. Serviced office rental costs also apply broadly to co-working office space. |

About Mayfair

Having a Mayfair office provides companies with the kudos of a world renowned address in the heart of the West End – the ultimate corporate location.
Mayfair runs the combined length of New & Old Bond Streets, in between Regent St and Park Lane. The area is full of character, history, restaurants and shops and its communications are unsurpassed. AT the end of 2018 the Elizabeth Line will stop at Bond St, making communications even better!
A large proportion of Mayfair comprises high quality modern office buildings, some of which have been converted from historic buildings behind retained period façades. So the facades often bely interiors which have been gutted to provide state of the art Mayfair office space for rent.
Some of the most prestigious Mayfair offices are situated in and around fine garden squares, such as Berkeley Square, Grosvenor Square & Hanover Square, but Mayfair has numerous other exclusive streets and busy thoroughfares with world class shopping.
Mayfair is synonymous with large UK and international household name companies. The area also home to a multitude of smaller organisations, who gain credibility from occupying Mayfair office space. Excellent communications and amenities make the area a great hook for world class staff.
Historically companies took long term leases in the area. Nowadays, smaller and even larger companies rent more flexible, serviced offices in Mayfair. Coworking space and flexible meeting room hire is gaining popularity. And this Christmas, the ideal stocking filler for the company director who “has it all” will be a virtual Mayfair office!
Rent and overall occupancy cost of office space in Mayfair is the highest in Central London.
