The Background
With over 2,000 employees, Huajin is one of the largest textile manufacturers in China. Having chosen London as the base for their first European headquarters, they engaged our serviced office team to find office space on all-inclusive flexible terms.
The Brief
With a focus on being close to potential clients and other businesses in the fashion retail sector, Huajin asked us to find an office to accommodate up to 10 desks alongside an area that could be utilised as a showroom, where they could meet with clients and show-off their ranges. It was of vital importance for the building to be of sufficient quality to host clients and also to be within a short walk of an underground station.
The Challenge
Initially, identifying suitable options was proving a challenge because the brief was to consider any central London location. With close to 600 serviced and managed offices across London, we simply had too many buildings to choose from. We therefore worked closely with Huajin and delved a little deeper into their business operations to fully understand their wants and needs to achieve from their office space. This helped us quickly identify that having an office space in Fitzrovia, close to department stores and some of the worlds biggest brands, would be ideal.
The Outcome
Once we began to focus on their preferred location, the client asked us to arrange a full day of office viewings on one of the two days they were here in the UK for. The space we procured was a lovely 15 desk office that was configured to 10 desks and a showroom, within budget and situated on Mortimer Street in the heart of their preferred location.
