With 35 years' experience as a commercial surveyor in the City, Alastair has acted for a large number of clients in providing commercial property agency, professional and asset management advice to both landlords and occupiers.  His in-depth experience in these areas has been employed throughout mainland Britain.

Alastair is trustee of Thomas Pocklington Trust, a private charity for the visually impaired, a trustee of the Wellington Trust, a charitable trust set up in 2006 by the Honourable Company of Master Mariners to administer and manage the Headquarters Ship WELLINGTON at Temple Stairs, Embankment and a member of the Felsted School Mission Council, a charitable foundation set up in the 1809s by Felsted School.

Alastair is also a classically trained semi-professional singer.
