A Scottish bank has agreed a deal to take on more than 15,000 sq ft of London office space, according to reports.

Propertyweek.com states Clydesdale Bank is set to take over the lease for the 33, Gracechurch Street development.

The 15,630 sq ft of office space, which currently belongs to Stockdale, comes at a price of £49 per sq ft, the source adds.

A ten-year lease for the fifth and sixth floors of the building has been agreed between the bank and letting agents Knight Frank and Strutt and Parker, the website claims.

In total the property has around 100,000 sq ft of space, according to the source.

Earlier this month, a South African bank agreed a deal to take on more than 150,000 sq ft of London office space, Propertyweek.com reports.

Standard Bank is set for a move to 20, Gresham Street in the City area, after finalising terms with Hermes Real Estate, the source adds.
