A software development company has chosen to open a London base as the headquarters of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
The firm, Aveska, said the move was due to its success in the US and increasing demand for its governance solutions in the EMEA area.

Included in the new plans, the firm has appointed a managing director of EMEA sales, Brent Thurrell.
The new position will lead the expansions into London's office space market, which has already begun with the signing of a contract for a European financial services company.
Mr Thurrell said: "I am eager to build upon Aveksa's rising momentum in EMEA and look forward to helping the company continue the impressive growth that it has achieved in such a short amount of time."
Patrick Welch, vice president of sales at the firm, said the company has a "growing international momentum" which the new base would work on.
The new office space to rent in London will be in Piccadilly.
Recently another firm, DWF, chose to establish itself in London, which would be its first base outside of the north.
